High Point Helps Habitat for Humanity in 'Building Hopes, Building Dreams'

(Red Bank, N.J.) - High Point, one of the top New Jersey auto insurers, sponsored Habitat for Humanity on May 11 with employees volunteering their time to construct panels for six homes that will be located in Red Bank and Trenton.

Habitat for Humanity builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowners and through volunteer labor and monetary and material donations. Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit, financed with affordable, no-interest loans. The homeowners' monthly mortgage payments are used to build more Habitat houses.

From May 1 through May 13, 2006, Habitat for Humanity had a worksite at the Monmouth Mall to construct the panels for six homes. The event was also sponsored by The Breeze 107.1 and 99.7 and G Rock 106.3 and 98.5 radio stations.

"High Point is proud to sponsor Habitat for Humanity. This project was an opportunity for our employees to help members of the community receive homes that otherwise they may not be able to afford," said Jim Tignanelli, President of the High Point group of insurance companies. "Sponsoring Habitat for Humanity was a natural fit for High Point because we pride ourselves on helping those in need. Being a part of such an extraordinary volunteer program touches all of us at High Point and we look forward to being involved in the future."

This sponsorship is one of the many ways High Point supports communities throughout New Jersey. "As a New Jersey based company, serving New Jersey residents, we feel strongly about supporting our fellow citizens. We believe helping our community is as important as helping our customers," said Tignanelli.

High Point (www.highpointins.com), a New Jersey-based auto insurer, is committed to providing extraordinary customer service to New Jersey drivers. Insurance underwritten by High Point Preferred Insurance Company, High Point Safety and Insurance Company, and High Point Property and Casualty Insurance Company.
