Why do I have to pay my PIP deductible/Co-Payment When I was not At fault for the Accident?
In 1988, the state of New Jersey introduced mandatory PIP (Personal Injury Protection) deductibles and co-payments. These provisions apply regardless of who is at fault for the accident. This is why PIP coverage is sometimes referred to as “No-Fault” Coverage. Any unpaid amounts due to the application of the deductible and/or co-payment can be submitted to your health carrier for consideration, along with a copy of the Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
Where do I Send my Medical Bills?
Your medical bills should be sent to the address shown below. Please put your claim number on the outside of the envelope so that we can promptly direct your bills to your claims representative.

What Happens if my House is Unlivable?
If a covered loss makes your home unsafe to live in, your policy provides coverage for additional living expenses. Your claims representative can assist you in locating temporary housing, if necessary, and can advise you of your policy coverage for additional living expenses.
Will Someone Come to my Home to Inspect my Property Loss?
If necessary, a property claims representative will arrange a time at your convenience to visit your home, view the damage, and prepare the necessary estimates.
How Long do I Have to Keep the Damaged Items?
You should retain all damaged property until your claims representative has inspected the items or has given you instructions to discard the property.
